Condemnation of massacres in EgyptPosted On - 14/08/2013 at 12:00
MAB Strongly Condemns the Massacre in Egypt at the hands of the Military:
To the Free People of the World
As dawn broke on the 14th of August 2013, the revolution of January 25th entered into a new phase. With it crumbled the false masks that army generals used to try and hide their real objectives. Some of those who supported the military coup on the 3rd July 2013 attempted to destroy a revolution of a people who had suffered for decades under military rule.
On the morning of 14/8/2013, generals commanding the coup spearheaded a war, for the 1st time in their lives, not to defend their country but to massacre their people... History records that the last war in which the Egyptian army fought was on the 6th October 1973 against occupying forces. Not a single leader who is involved in the current decision making process fought in this war, they all joined the army subsequently.
The oppressive regime was preparing them for just such a moment. The United States of America supported them financially and assisted in brainwashing them so that their interests run contrary to those of their country and their people. Furthermore, they were ably supported by local and international media peddling false propaganda and injecting ill-gotten funds.
As international media silence around these massacres and war crimes in Egypt continue, the responsibility for all that is happening - bloodshed, sectarian strife and interfaith tension - lies squarely on their shoulders, as long as they remain supportive of the coup and the military - financially and otherwise.
Despite these disasters and crimes, the Egyptian people's revolution will continue to resist the treacherous, renegade bullets with their bare chests. They have faith that it is only with the help of God the Almighty that they have taken the first steps on the path to victory - a nation in united in solidarity, with no room for puschists, agents or supporters of any coup.
