As students across England and Wales receive their A-level results, the Muslim Association of Britain would like to extend its warmest congratulations to all students on this day. The results achieved are a testament to the determination and hard work of students along with the professionalism and dedication of school & college staff.
Waiting to hear from universities is an anxious time for many, both students and parents alike, and we wish everyone the very best of luck in the career path they choose moving forwards.
Dr Anas Altikriti, President of MAB, congratulated students saying, “A-level completion is a huge achievement and a milestone in one’s education journey. Regardless of the results achieved, there are a variety of options available that one may not be aware of and it is always best to do the research before making a decision. Whether it be university, vocational training or any other path, indeed, A-level results, whatever they may be, are not an obstacle to one’s dreams.”
The Exam Results Helpline is a source of free, impartial advice after receiving results and is available to all parents, teachers and students. It is run by the Department for Education’s National Careers Service, it is open for students and their carers alike to get advice on what to do if a student does better or worse than expected in their exams, or if they get the results they hoped for but aren’t sure what steps to take next. They can be reached on 0800 100 900 and will be open until the 29th August.
