The Muslim Association of Britain would like to extend its warmest congratulations to everyone receiving their A-Level results today. A-level completion is a huge achievement and a significant milestone, more so in light of the difficult and unprecedented times that we are going through.

There is a wide variety of options for every student, regardless of their results. So whether it is university, college, vocational training or any other path, one’s results, whatever they may be, are not an obstacle to one’s dreams.

In recognising that the pandemic will change the way we see education, we hope that the government can use this time to sit with education representatives to see how everyone can work together to deliver the best for children and restore confidence in the qualifications and exam system.

The Exam Results Helpline is a source of free, impartial advice after receiving results and is available to all parents, teachers and students. It is run by the Department for Education’s National Careers Service, who have a team of skilled careers advisers who will be able to help students. So whether it a question about exam appeals or next steps, we would encourage students to give them a call. They can be reached on 0800 100 900 and will be open until the 30th August to help.
