“Surely, we belong to Allah and to Him shall we return.”
May Allah, the Most Merciful, forgive him, pardon him, raise his status; and open for him a door to al-Jannah; and grant him the highest stations.

Ustadh Jumuah Al-Ameen Abdul Aziz was one of the most important thinkers and the official historian of the Muslim Brotherhood. He has written many political treatises and publications such as “In the Shade of the 20 principles” and “The history of the Muslim Brotherhood.” The latter is the only official book documenting the history of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt.
He has many educational compilations, explaining the perceptions of the Muslim Brotherhood and their ideas and their own curriculum and foremost of which are “In the shadow of the twenty principles” and “The Methodology of change with Imam al-Banna” and other Islamic literature.
Born in 1934 in Beni Suef, Upper Egypt, he went on to complete a BA (Social Service) with honours in 1961. He was married, with three children and seven grandchildren.
He was a contemporary of Imam Hasan al-Banna at the very young age, but did not interact directly with him. He was affected severely from the day of his martyrdom, when he heard his schoolteacher speaker.
He has been associated with the Muslim Brotherhood since 1951.
After the events of 1954 and the fabricated Manshiya incident, the MB organisation was about to fall apart, had it not been for some of those members who persevered with this call.
He was inprisoned until the beginning of 1971 and was released when Sadaat began releasing the MB members after the death of Gamal Abdel Nasser.
After his release from prison he worked as a researcher in Alexandria, then headed the Department of Social Research, then became its director
He then moved to Saudi Arabia in 1981, to take up the job as the Director of the Office of the World Assembly of Muslim Youth in Jeddah from 1981 to 1985.
After returning to Egypt, he helped in the establishment of the Madinah Schools; and was Chair of its Board of Directors.
He was arrested again in 1994 – for several in another of the fabricated issues for several months.
He was a member of the administrative office of the Muslim Brotherhood in Alexandria, then a vice-president and was elected a member of the Guidance Office from 1995 until his death.
