Donald Trump is coming to London in December for the NATO Heads of State summit, and he will surely try to meddle with the elections. On Tuesday 3rd December, the Queen will be hosting a reception for NATO leaders at Buckingham Palace.
Last year MAB alongside hundreds of British groups, associations and campaigns held a joint national protest in Central London where a quarter of a million mobilised to say no to Trump’s politics of hate and division. This time, we hope there will be even bigger numbers.
The Muslim Association of Britain rejects this visit. We, alongside hundreds of British groups, associations and campaigns will be holding a joint national protest in Central London on Tuesday the 3rd of December to declare our outrage, and to send a clear message to the government that he, and all what he represents, are not welcome.
This demonstration isn’t just about Trump as one man. He is a symbol of the new far right, a politics of islamophobia, bigotry and fascism, and of war and conflict.
Join us on 3rd December at Trafalgar Square from 4pm as we say No to Trump.
