volunteer at a protest

Peaceful protests have been a remarkable tool for making monumental social change. After all, it’s hard to ignore thousands of people occupying a public space, united in their willingness to call for a better world.

How can i get involveD?

Organising a protest or march isn’t easy and there’s lot of things involved. From logistics and laws to crowd control and marketing, it takes a lot of hard work and dedication to execute a successful day. At MAB, we have a team of dedicated volunteers who help us in all our protests. Some of their responsibilities include:

Logistics planning - volunteers strategically plan out locations and routes, they notify the relevant authorities and arrange for any other necessary gear to be set up (like stages, microphones or signs).

Stewarding - some of our team dedicate their time to managing crowd control, giving directions and offering help to attendees on the day.

Creative content – placards need to be designed, printed and assembled, chants rehearsed and speeches planned.

Marketing – we need to spread the word in a short amount of time, across all possible platforms.

If you want your voice to be heard, join our protest team and make it a reality.
