MAB’s President, Council and Executive Board.

MAB’s Leadership

The highest constitutional body in MAB is its General Assembly, which convenes every two years.

The General Assembly elects a 21 person Consultative Council (Shura Board) who elect the MAB President and ratify the National Executive Board.

The Shura Board meets quarterly with the National Executive Board to hold it accountable and discuss matters of strategy and policy.

The National Executive Board is made up of the following offices:

  • Tarbiyah (Islamic development)

  • Dawah (conveying the message of Islam)

  • Institutions

  • Finance

  • Politics and Media

  • Youth and Juniors

  • Branch Coordination

MAB also has 20+ branches across the UK, each with its own Head of Branch elected by the local members. They also form a Local Executive Committee reporting into the National Executive Board.
